Introducing Microsoft Phone Link: A Unified Experience for All

We're excited to announce that we've updated the design of Phone Link on your PC to complement Microsoft's Windows 11 design language. With this new look, we're introducing Microsoft Phone Link as the PC app experience and Link to Windows as our mobile app for Android devices. This latest evolution brings a new name to unify the experience for all our users.

Over the past few years, we've been working tirelessly to bring important capabilities and content from your Android phone to your Windows PC. We've carefully listened to your feedback and used it to continue evolving our app experiences. Since then, we've embarked on a journey to make it easy to access everything you love on your phone from your PC.

One of the most exciting features is the ability to control all your phone's apps from your PC using Android keyboard navigation while receiving spoken feedback from your PC speakers. This feature is especially useful for those who use a screen reading tool on their PC, thanks to our Link to Windows accessibility service.

To use this feature, you'll need a Windows 10 PC running the May 2020 Update or later and at least 8GB of RAM. Your Android device must also be running Android 11.0 or later. Additionally, some features like drag-and-drop, Phone screen, and Apps require a compatible Microsoft Duo, Samsung, or HONOR device.

Exclusive features like cross-device copy and paste, Phone screen, file drag- and-drop, and Apps are all integrated into the Link to Windows app, so you don't need to download additional apps from the Play Store. With select Microsoft Duo, Samsung, and HONOR phones, you can enjoy an even better experience.
